Whats the very best glass scraper???

I have the magnet algae ones, but what is the very best glass scraper out there??

I use the Magnavore IV on my 180 Lynn. It is the best way to clean the inside of the glass I have found.

When magnetic cleaners won't cut it, I use razor blades. The hardware store sells little plastic handles that hold the razor blades. I use one of these for close in work and another of these affixed to the end of a pvc pipe (epoxied into a notch sawed into a 45 degree elbow) for deeper work.

Razor blades are the best at cleaning algea off the glass. Magnets that float are the easiest, by far. You don't even have to put your had in the water to go from the side glass to the front. They are great for weekly or twice-weekly cleaning. Razor blade the edges once a month or so and your all set.

I use a Mag VI on my 150 with 1/2" glass. You need to use little elbow grease to move it around but it works great

I agree with Louey. Razor blades are the best for glass. I have three of the kent marine pro scrapers all which I put in the stainless steel blades in. I have every kind of magnet glass cleaner. A few of which picked up sand and scratched my glass. The first time I used pro scrapers my wife said "What did you do to the aquarium, it looks great." I was never able to get it that clean. Now I clean it once a week.

I have the kent pro scraper, im not sure whats so pro about it but it works great. Infact, could you imagine a pro-algie scraper. How sad is that, "that looks like a job for a pro, move aside peon".

Anyways, the long handle means i can access the whole tank without putting my hand in, and the metal scraper hasn't crapped out on me yet, unlike razorblades that need pereodical replacement. Also it doesn't rust, and i dont think you could cut yourself with it. Im happy with it, but id prefer a magnetic one that i could whizz round with daily.
