Seasalt

Just came home from the health food store with a bag of sea salt for human consumption. (I really like to use this stuff!) Then I got to thinking...this is SEAsalt, and at 49 cents a pound. What's the difference between this salt and the salt we buy for the aquariums? Definitely cheaper if it's similar. Any ideas?

If you dry out ocean water you will make a number of precipitates that will not redissolve. Most notably calcium carbonate.

MY LFS sells IO 15lb(50 gallon) bags for $12.99 a bag thats about 88 cents a pound, Ill stick with a well tested proven product for that price
