Looking to build a 60 gallon 24"x24"x24" tank. Got all the parts in for my reverse carlson surge and need a tank to put it on (boy oh boy is a 4" bulkhead big and bulky.)

My 90 gal. acrylic is 3/8".

That should be very good for a 60 gal...

Rob,

I'm not the one to ask, but doesn't it depend on how the tank is designed (especially the top bracing method)? I've seen 60 gallon cubes that use 3/8" acrylic (which a top parameter bracing) if that helps any.

4" bulks are expensive too

they sure are. paid $77 for it. I'm going to go with a 3" lip around the top and go with .5 acryllic. sound good?
