I have an aiptasia anemone problem in my tank and am looking for a way to end it. I have a 37 gallon reef. Of the options, I have thought of Peppermint shrimp, raccoon butterflies, and nudibranchs. I have tried various methods of injection, and they have all been unsuccessful. Could you please give me advice pertaining to these three animals, their ability to eat/destroy aiptasia, and their compatability in a 37 gallon reef. Thanks

I used the injection technique for many months and thought I had it under control.

Then, WHAM! All of a sudden I have an explosion (sort of) of the aiptasia.

I just added 2 Peppermnt shrimp, but it will likely take some time before I expect to notice if they are doing their job.

I'd like to add a nudibranch...any idea where to get them?

Good luck on your aiptasias...

Ed
