Saltwater Aeration

hi.
I just noticed that Dan's comment is related to aeration of DI water before adding salt, and Steve's comment is related to aeration of saltwater afterthe salt is added.

So does it mean that if we want to do it right, we need to aerate both before and after adding salt?

Steve (SPC), don't worry, this does not go unnoticed.

I have not gone away, just reading...watching, and enjoying the responses. Problem is, I am not sure that I am any clearer in my mind than before.

Randy made a good comment on the precipitation of insoluble materials. Sounds like a good reason to let the water sit after you've mixed! Otherwise, I haven't heard any compelling reason unless, maybe, one is doing a very large change.
