Every site that sells co2 regs doesn't say who makes them or really anything else than that they regulate co2 and how many guages. So since there is no apparent differance, has anyone had any problems w/ a certain reg. that they bought?

Heres what i'm looking at, need the solenoid, any input from people that have bought one from these places would be appreciated:

The precision marine reg. has a nice 2 year warranty, wouldn't mind that one. Any help? It will be supplying co2 to a geo reactor.

I bough a reglator with 2 guages from harbor freight. It looks just like the ones that reef shops sell but IMO it is a bit unreliable. I added a 20.00 needle valve from premium aquatics. I may get a better regulator some day but considering I paid 35.00 for the one I have now, I may just keep it for a while and deal with the little bit of fuss.

I have a 2 guage regulator made by Celli (an Italian brand). I got it from a wholesaler of beverage dispensing equipment.

It cost $58. Been running for 5+ years with no problems.

I got mine from a local welding shop also and have had no problems. I also use one of the needle valves from Home Depot which cost $3.95. Someone on these boards told me they worked great, and they do. I can only get my bubble count down to 14 bubbles per minute at the lowest. So if you need less co2 it probably won't work. You shouldn't need any less than that.
Good Luck

Hi I bought one from a local welding shop. I had a solenoid and a neeldle valve but I could'nt never get it to regulate correctly. very annoying. Took it back coz I lost 10lbs. CO2 within the week. I ordered the Supreme Regulator from Marine Monsters. very pleased it it very precise. Total cost 156.00.
