4 months ago, my brother gave me a small xenia for my tank. It has done very well. VERY WELL!! I now have xenia everywhere. I know that I can take some of the fragments to the pet store here, but my problem is that several have attached themselves to rather large pieces of live rock. I don't want to break up the live rock and I don't want to give the rock back to the pet store. Is there anyway to dislodge these babies without killing them? I also have a few on the glass. If I just razor them off will they die? Thanks

I have some xenia that has to be removed from a powerhead every few weeks. I slice it off with a razor, rubberband it to a rock, and the residual tissue ALWAYS sprouts new polyps within days!!
