I have a 10 gal refugium that currently houses a 4 lb pice of live rock feather calupera and a 5 inch dsb. My problem is that i have algae every where even killing off the calupera.
Do a complete water change with salt and RO/DI or filtered water from the store. Siphon out as much of the algea during the water change as you can. Are you adding additives? Stop. Do you have fish? How manya nd what is your feeding like. Feed light. With a tank that small it is necessary to do bi-weekly or at the minumum, weekly water changes. How old is the tank?
Sorry. I now noticed the "refugium" and though it was a new micro-reef. My bad. Is it lighted? Are the bubls old. I noticed after I replaced my PC's on my sump, things got better.
