GE Carbon cartridges

Anybody ever use these in thier RO/DI in a pinch?
I had a Carbon block cartridge plug on my unit, and needed to get one quick. I got 2 from HD for $10. The pack didnt say if they are GAC or Carbon block, but I added 2 after the micron element and before the membrane.

hesaias,I haven't used them but they do list the flow particle size as .5-1.0 microns.Sounds like an ok filter to me.Let me know how they work out.Are you gonna make the meeting next Sat?

they seem to work ok. I'm making some water change water now for a water change Monday.As far as I know, I'll be there next Sat.

Have you tested the output water for NO2, NO3, or PO4?
Those things could be a winner.
