Jeez. They arent gonna sue because you say "I added product X and my tank crashed - anyone have the same thing happen or have any ideas what happened?" Be respectful, and you have been, and there is nothing to worry about. Come on, don't let the sue crazy idiots win by stopping us from sharing info. This is silly.

Miracle Mud, right?

PS
I am so sorry for you Walter. Tank crashes suck. I hope it all recovers well and quickly.

Does anyone else use this product? I just ordered a gallon based on recommendations from my LFS and the Premium Aquatics web site.

About 2ish years ago I bought the stuff when I was in the "must add trace elements" part of the hobby. It sounded great, and all in one trace element mix. When I got it home and read the bottle carefully, I read you have to add it every day, and I couldn't because I was traveling too much at the time. So I shelved it.
Now, I tend to not trust any solution that does everything if everyone is not using it.
I have never heard of anything like what happened to you though.
Did anything else weird happen? Temp spike, salinity spike, pH spike?

Again, this sucks for you and I am sorry.

Temp sticks at 79 with the help of a chiller and madusa temp controler and 2 300w EboJager heaters, salinity was and is at .025 with makeup water (RO/DI + Kalk) doesd through a litermeter type parastaltic pump (WattsonMarlow)and the pH/Alk is kept stable at 8.4 with a Knop CA+ reactor. I spent a bundle trying to avoid suck a happening. But I am still SOL. I am fixing the little things i the tank that I did not like but did not want to fool with while everything was lookin and running great. The rebuild continues but I think that the tank will be FO for a while. I will start to acclamate new corals in it when I get to the point of cycling my new 230. Thanks for the input.

Kind Regards

Walter
