125 aga twin overflows anybody using the foam sponge that co

If you get rid of the sponge how else can you reduce the noise?

Do a search on a Durso Standpipe. Cuts all the noise down to almost nothing! I changed to one only 2 weeks after setting up my 120 gallon and could finally hear the TV again! Cheap and easy!

Ditto on the sponges...trash them!

I agree with Cat23, get rid of the AGA overflow kits, and put in a Durso standpipe.

My wife started supporting the tank after I did this

is anyone running powerheads out of their overflows , that are running durso or stockman overflows?
