Thats right, you heard it first. New to the skimmer world and long time coming, the AUTO FLUSH does just that, Totally cleans the cup so removal is not needed anymore. Please post your opinions. George

OK, I'll try it. What are the test parameters you are looking for? I've done beta tests on several dozen products and have provided in depth feedback. I will be out of town for several until next Monday, but would like to find out more.

FWIW, it looked pretty commercial over on ReefCentral.

You had named a price and had a nice shiny label on the skimmer when I saw the picture.

If that doesn't look commercial, I don't know what does then. I work with salesmen daily and your line "I am not a business, just an inventor trying to come up with solutions to your problems" smacks with commerical written all over it.

You would not believe how many times I get a variation on that sentence in my line of work. I have salesmen trying to sell me solutions to my problems all the time.

No flames intended. I just know a tree when I see one.

FWIW, it looks like a nice skimmer and I hope that the feedback you received from the people over on ReefCentral helps to make an even better skimmer. Will you be making your "auto flush" mod available to the general public since it's free? It'd be interesting to see how it works.

I hate to burst your bubble but Deltec have had self cleaning heads on their new AP range for the last year. Try and keep up

P.S. Deltec are the origional German ferraris of aquatics.
