I am setting up my new 350G tank and am thinking of getting a snail eater (depending upon if that is all they will go after). Any experiance with keeping any of these in a reef?

The tank will be a reef with lots of corals and a lot of LR. I will have 3-5 clams (small sizes) and lot's of snails. I would like shrimp but can live without them as I have another 75G tank as well. Other inhabitans are going to be a purple tang, a sailfin tang, one or 2 wrasses, a pair of clown fish, and some other basslets/gobies/...

Here are the potential candidates:
boxfish or small puffer
LONG NOSE HAWKFISH
EMPEROR ANGELFISH

Thanks for any advice (feel free to email me at): [email protected]

Hmmm, it's more along the lines that I could live with loosing a snail per day or so. (I seem to be able to breed snails in my sump so it would not be as pricy as it sounds. The issue is I can not get a creature that eats 2-3 snails in a day. I agree triggers are out and the angel was more of a Coral questions.

Also I have several Tiger tail cucumbers and other sand critters (100's of bristle worms) so I'm not worried about the DSB and I have a lot of LR 600-700lbs of LR and 3-4" of LS.
