I'm attempting to build a NURCE type top-off unit and am wondering what to do with the air intake tube. Does it also go the water line in the sump? Please tell me how you like yours, tips, tricks, advice etc.
Thanks much
Bryan
What did you build yours from? I just went to a local beer making store and bought a glass 6.5 gal container with a rubber stopper on it. I think that I have it airtight but with the flexable hoses it does not seem to work.
Thanks

Aqualan used to have the detailed instructions for setting up the Nurce on their website...I just took a look to see if I could find them but I can't. Maybe you'll have better luck than I did: http://www.aqualan.to
I fugured out the airline issue. Now everything is dialed in and air tight. When the water level blocks the air intake, the water takes a long time to stop and some water backs up the airline tube. Is this normal, and how can I make it more efficient.
Thanks much for any help.

Minnreefer-
I built mine using a 10 gallon aquarium, plexi lid sealed in place, air tight fitting etc. When I get it working perfectly, I'll post pictures and detailed DIY parts and instructions. Total price around $30 for water top-off and Kalk despenser.
