I got this coral from a LFS for $15 by convincing them that it was going to die - it wasn't looking good.

I took it home and have been nursing it. Here is the coral after about two-three months:

Hey,very nice job!
I was just about to post a question about my Sun C.
On a LR that I've purchased, there is ONE Sun polyp. Is only one calcareous sleeve with the orange polyp in it.The pol. is very much alive,is changing shapes and color, but never open.I have it since beg. of Sep.
At the beginning,I tried to feed it(with meety reef formula stuff),but the food just didn't stuck in there.
I tried for a while,but seeing no success,I ignored.
Two days ago, after feeding the fishes,I've noticed the S pol.came out a bit more.
I gave it a chunk of food that it eat all.
Now,every day I push a piece in the hole,it stays there for a while, but it's getting stolen by crabs.
I'll try to feed food that it can be eaten faster(smaller piece).

My question is:what is the best way to get the Sun c. develop?

Mabu, you've done such a good job with yours!

Keep up!FM
