john where do you get greenex. I have a 65 gallon full of flatworms. I do have a slug that eats them but the flatworms reproduce as fast as eats them

Malachite green the mineral does contain copper. However this medicine contains the organic compound malachite green...Confusing......
Seems there are two substances called malachite green.
Perhaps since the medicine is green and similar in color they named it after malachite green

Close Bodine. Malachite is a green-tinted, copper-containing mineral. Malachite green is an industrial dye with a similar color as the mineral malachite (hence its name) that happens to also have medicinal use. Malachite green is an organic compound that contains no copper. It is pretty toxic stuff though, so be wary using it at full strength. I've heard of many people having negative experiences with it, so proceed with caution.
