Does the loc-line tubing have to be placed below the water line? I have part of mine above the water line and wondering if this could be the source of the micro bubbles in the tank.
Thanks,
David

No it does not, it is water tight.

Dave, Loc-line is the ball and socket hard tubing.

All my loc-lines leak like mofo. I wouldn't have guessed that they even suggested it was water-tight.

Are you guys (&Gals) using the loc-line for your returns??I was going to get some for that purpose but my LFS told me just to make a spray bar...What do you think???should i use it??it looks better then white PVC spray bar

Mark:

I used to use locline for my return. Problem is, the spray versions tended to clog on me and reduced too much flow. I'd much rather have a large 1" effluent then 10 tiny jets. Why bother with spray bars?
