I made the trek out to Coral Reef Aquarium in Seekonk, MA today. It was a 3 hour ride (well, at my speed - mapquest says 3.5) and was well worth the trip.
Jeremy was incredibly knowledgeable and had great livestock. His hippo is the healthiest, fattest, happiest one I've ever seen. He is very picky about where his livestock comes from and it is obvious. Not a single fish there looked in the least bit unhealthy - a very nice change from what I'm used to seeing!
He didn't try to sell me a thing I didn't need (now that I think about it, he didn't try to sell me a single thing!) and discouraged me from wanting corals that I am not ready for yet - not to mention this pretty fish and that pretty fish
And fantastic prices - most stuff was half of what I pay here! See you again in a couple months!
Thanks!
