I have been thinking about raiseing rotifers and phytoplankton but it looks like alot of work. Those who have done it do you feel like it was worth the work just to make your corals happy. Any tips and tricks would be nice too.

I raise them.. but it is not alot of work.. it is easy.

I would get a book "Plankton Culture Manual" from florida aqua farms.. It goes into detail on how to do it.

I have setup mine for breeding marine animals..
but dump quite a bit of green water into my tanks when I don't need it all.. Rotifers too..

good luck..

Glass is much easier to decon than plastic. Try to get containers you can fit your hand/arm into for easy clean. Clean containers are important.
Other than that, follow the instructions in the Plankton Manual from Florids Aqua farms.

The effort is worth the results.
