It's sights like this that make me happy to be a reef-keeper. This guy must be 12" long and 1/2" thick...I hadn't seen him in a month, and he came out to play tonight as I was sitting here at the computer.

you should call it Nessy, on account of its monster size and infrequent sightings.

Well, depends......It will be if you decided to pick it up with your fingers, no gloves.

bare skin is always nicer than gloves!

Nice! I saw some cool worms when I moved my tank recently. One was about 6" long and was thinner than a pencil lead. It's now making nice long trails in my DSB.

It looks like a Nereid worm. I dont' think it should harm you if you pick it up barehanded. The bristles are actually protuberances used for locomotion and not so much for defense. They are annelids related to earthworms and leeches. True segments.

Here we go with the size thing again  You boys will never learn. Even trying to convince us that it really can get bigger

Oh, what the heck - everyone get out their tape measures and give us the details! :D
