I recently got a torch coral from a guy at my lfs who asked me to work with it to see if i could get it looking healty again. There Tank has been neglected and many of the corals are sufffering greatly over it. I have had this coral for like 3 weeks now and the tenticles seem to be extending a bit more then what they did at first. I was wondering what i can feed them. Wasnt sure if i coulp put some DT's in a syringe and feed them this or if they ate other nutrients in the water. I have a candycane coralnot sure that is what it is thought. also that i am unsure what to feed or if i need to feed either directly any help would be great
you can see both corals on my site but the server i use wont remote connect so you have to copy and paste to see them.

I feed my torch a small piece of raw shrimp to
each head one a week. It really seems to enjoy it.

I feed my torch my prepared foods I make. I just take a chunk put it in a cup with some tank water and use a turkey baster to target feed it. It takes the food right away. Sometimes I have to keep the shrimp or other fish in the tank from stealing it though. I think once a week would be sufficient.

Small diced scallops once a week. I also use DT's Phytoplankton for the whole tank. I am assuming the torch may pick up some of the DT's.
