Well, I have always used the TWP from AP, it has always been DI water, so I don't really understand ? Have they made additional changes to the unit?

I think they're referring to the new brown color instead of the old green color. It's still a DI system. The effluent on mine is 1ppm or less (so it does work as advertised). I get about 50 gallons per cartridge, but more if I put 2 in series.

The old one had a rubber that fit over the screen on your sink and popped off all the time--the new one replaces the screen (threads on) and has a valve that allows you to use the sink or divert through the TWP by simply opening or closing the valve without disconnecting anything.

Mine came that way back in February so i dont think that is the new improvement. Unless its an old ad?
