At first I thought it was a rhodactis, but upon closer inspection, it had little nubs of off white on a mauve body with little wrinkles and what looked like a mouth in the middle. It has some type of skeleton and looks like an alien biscuit. LFS guy said it was not a stony coral, was photosynthetic and did not have tentacles. Anyone have a scientific name for this one? I'll try and post pictures tomorrow night.

sounds like a Cynarina to me. maybe a lacrymalis or a deshayesianat. Hard to tell without a pic.

I got it yesterday, it was inflated, mouth open today, had to do a small water change ( I'm a bit backwards, having two full time jobs and a tank at work and all kinds of filaments coated an area of the tank when I turned the filter off. Anyway here's a link, Any advice on tankmates?
