Not I. I am surprised that you let him off the hook as gently as you did, though.

I will second the post that says that just because one person has had success with a particular set of "incompatible" species does not guarantee that anyone else will. Calling generally accepted practices "myth" based on one person's experience is ludicrous and irresponsible. That is why I started the Powder Blue Survival poll, and based on the results have decided against keeping one.

FWIW I attempted various tangs in my 55 (not at the same time) and ended up killing them. I wish I had listened to the advice given me on the subject. A 75 is a 55 w/ more room front to back. It doesn't give much more swimming room than my 55.

I had a particular customer that wanted to put 2 powder blues together, and 2 purple tangs together in a 120. The more I told him it wouldn't work, the more he wanted to do it, because he *knew* that .0001% of the time it would work, and just because everyone assumed it wouldn't, to his mind meant there was some kind of slim chance and it was his duty to prove them wrong. Since I wouldn't sell him the fish, I"m pretty sure he went elsewhere and bought/killed them.

The reason I let them off the hook can be seen in the above statement, they are Trolls. The nazi reference was used in a similar thread on RC this past week by albee.
