Algae grazing snails (turbo, trochs, etc), small serpant stars (not brittle stars), and some nassarius snails.

Oh, and 10 blue leg hermits per gallon, right guys?

Hey Monkeyboy, why no brittle stars? Brittle stars don't get as large and are not as predatory on other animals that you might buy as the serpent stars are.

As far as nassarious snails, they are supposed to stir up the top layer of your sand and also eat the detritus there, so they are not harmful to the overall setup.

I love my impatiens cucumber. It eats huge amounts of detritus and then the banded serpent star comes and eats its poop. Go fig.
