just let it go... you and i both know that your tank is quite the accomplishment and impressive to say the least so why not leave it at that.
if youve seen john's site, you'd know that he is quite accompolished in the hobby also, so i find it very unlikely that he would do such a thing.
as for finding the real culprit, dont give the guy the satisfaction of wasting your time and energy, there is not much you can really do about it, and besides, there will always be another A-hole who will do just the same.

Hi, jj. Why would someone from PETA be upset with your tank (ocean)? Since when is educating people and sharing information about ocean life unethical? Whatever organization this butthole belongs to should make attempts to restrain his illegal and unethical conduct. He is a nut job FWIW.
I was just going to add the same thought as cubera.
Why would someone with the environment you have to keep fish, and corals in be concerned with their happiness or lack of it. It's better than a lot of habitats we see fish, corals, and other animals being kept in. That almost doesn't even make sense. You actually have a large piece of the ocean.

Well, whatever a grundle is, mothers supposedly have them. Should I ask Mom? I think not, she already kicks the entire families collective butts in Scrabble.
I did find that a Grundel [spelled slightly different] is apparently some sort of fish... which would be in line with the reef-keeping scene. But why would your Mom have one, how are they supposed to be 'put together', can I get spare parts cheaper at the hardware store than at the LFS, and why is this thread still going on, and on, and on....??????

The guys just envious I am sure. He probably has like a 10 gallon tank filled with cyno and dreams of having your tank. I would not worry about it but I can see why you would be mad. I used to work for AOL and if you persue it they should suspend his account. They can also find out who it is but they will never tell you who it is guranteed. Cheers and nice set up!
