This may be just a "Southern" phenomina but most of our grocery stores carry "Canning" supplies. I guess 'cause we do alot of gardening and "put up" the surplus yield as preserves. Ask your Wal-Mart where their "Ball canning or Mason jars" are and the other supplies ( including the lime ) should be nearby. I have been using it for about a year and have had no complaints so far - do need to use a little more than regular Kalk ( mix a little heavy ). Have you considered the mix that BReefCase suggests in the FAQ's of white vinegar and Kalk or lime? I have been doing this for the last month - things look positive but need more time to be sure. You know how it is - good things take forever but bad things happen with blinding rapidity.
