My 180 ecosystem sps tank is just over a year old and this system is the best I have ever had. My 4 year old 120 seemed to be in a slump and we switched it over to an ecosystem and everything has bloomed{not algae} and loks 100% better. So I would say yes, it is good and worth the money. I know of several of our MARSH club members that have ecosystem's longer than me and swear by them plus I know quite a few reefers nationally that use ecosystems and love them too.

i use it in my eco system. i doubt i would ever go back to a complicated berlin system now that i have seen the results first hand. and that part about yellow water has never happened to me, mine is crystal clear. i would say it was well worth the money i spent on it.

Hi,

Im trying to learn about the EcoSystem filter but the links given here to find out about it just don't work. I've been trying for days and it still says down for maintenance! Can someone give me a link that works to found out the FAQ's on what this mircale mud really is and if its worth the cost?

Carrib Sea have just launched a refugeum substrate thats an Oolitic Aragonite/Latterite mix. It may be cheaper and still provide all you need.

.... or check the Sticky FAQ at the top of this forum- there is a very good Miracle Mud link there.

Where is the "Sticky" FAQ's? I can only find the general FAQ's but nothing mentioned about Miracle Mud. A general search only give me the analsys but not all the other things listed on the top of this page, for which the URL's dont work. Didn't anyone bring over the info from the old site to this new site or was all lost?
