Does yellow tang eat maiden's hair?

I would like to put the maiden's hair into reef tank.
Is it ok?

Ditto, IME, tangs will make pigs out of themselves if you let them. Now perhap's yours has issues with it's self image, but you can work on that, and get them fat and happy in no time. Just drop some in there in a lettuce clip. I've found my tang to be shy towards new types of Macro, unless I put it in the lettuce clip the first time. It seems he's grown adjusted to the fact that whatever goes in that plastic, orange, clownfish suction cupped to the glass, is food. I could prolly get him to eat Selcon soaked Newspaper that way... Hmmm. Now there's an idea.

My tangs created a bald maiden!

FWIW-Ive got 4 tangs in my tank and they stripped the rocks clean of everything but the maiden hair. Go figure.
