PC actinic, or VHO actinic; which is brightest, which is bes

Given the choice:

1. PC actinic

or

2. VHO actinic

Which would you choose, and why?
Which is brightest?
Are both the same colour (Are PC actinic's really truely actinic)?

Personally, I think the VHO actinic is the ONLY way to go. I can't stand the color of PC actinic. JMO.

There are PC true actinincs out there. PC are brighter, watt for watt than VHO.

I switched to PC actinics from PC-pseudo-actinics, and frankly I think the 7100K pseudo-actinics looked better in terms of color balance. But stuff glows with the "true" actinics. Now I have a 1:2:1 ratio of 6750K, 10,000K and "true" actinic and that seems to work well.

I used to use PCs,but found that VHOs look better and are more versitile. You can get bulbs in all different sizes from 18-72 inches. As stated above,VHO actinics look best.

PC is definitely brighter, but I think VHO gives much better color rendition.
