"You don't need no stinking Tutorial!"
No really, just get a sharp razor blade, and pretend your leather is a tree. Hack a branceh off near where it joins, making the cut as clean and simple as possible (try to make one cut with the blade, don't want to sit there and hack away at a wound). Then you can either try supergluing the frag to a piece of rock, or using rubberbands and some plastic netting (wedding Veil, etc.), allow it to attach by itself. I prefer the superglue method, but with leather's being so wet and slimy when cut, it is sometimes difficult. The third alternative I've tried involves skewering the frag with a toothpick (the little plastic one's shaped like swords are my favorite), and using fishing line to secure the toothpick to the rock, squishing the cut end of the coral up against the rock. Works very, very, well IME. Once everything's healed over and attached, simply cut the fishing line, and pull the toothpick out. Voila, instant Frag.
