my leather coral is closed!

My leather coral has been closed for about three days, is this normal? it has no waxy films or something wierd, its tentacles are just closed, my water parameters are perfect and the other corals look great. I can not figure out what it could be...

How's the water current in the tank, specifically around the leather? How long have you had it? what kind and how big are they?

I bought it 10 days ago the first 7 days it was perfect... I can tell it was growing! the water current is intermittent ( 10 seconds subdued current and 5 seconds strong current). it's a Sarcophyton species, maybe a Sarcophyton glaucum or S.trocheliophorum. it's 8 in tall and 6 in diameter.

Unless there are changes within the last couple of days, otherwise, I would wait patiently for it to reopen. Softies does this from time to time. Reasons unknown. As long as it is still standing upright, and the "stalk" is not wilting, I wouldn't worry too much about them. I assume lighting is not the issue as you mentioned the other corals are doing fine....
