A Twister may will depending on the size of the magnet and the thickness of the glass. I have no problem turning corners with a medium to large twister on an AGA 75 gal. Of course a Magnavore can usually do this as well but be cautioned, too large of a magnavore can slam down with significant force and you run a possible risk of breaking the glass if you are using say a Mag 10 on a 10 gallon tank

I use a Magnavore VI on my 180. It turns corners beautifully. I leave it in the tank all the time, parked up in one of the corners, and it's there when I need it. Since it turns corners, I no longer have to put my hand in the tank to clean the glass. And, as a bonus, it's almost totally covered with coralline now!

Well said well spoken....Mine is the same way on my 150. Wish I had bought it sooner.

The mag float will, in fact, it will go around anything. While I admit it may not be the strongest magnet ( go with the 350) it does the job, plus the price cant be beat.

My Tunze magnet has no problems going around corners and I have 0.5" glass. Plus, it was only 25 dollars. I would recommend one for anyone looking to buy a magnet. I've never tried any others though.

Magfloat will round corners and float up to the surface if they become disconnected. These are relatively cheap and work well IMO.

I love my Magnavores ! You have to give blood, arms and legs to get them up here to Canada, but whoa...this is good stuff !

I leave mine in too, when those circles start, they are toast, so if you keep up, you don't have to worry about the coraline where you don't want it. If you have old stuff, just use a safety razor blade, and then maintain !!!

I also use a Magnavore VI on a 180g glass tank. As strong as it is, I find it still will not remove coralline algae. I still have to use a razor to remove that. Do you have to also?

I left mine in the tank and it became coralline encrusted, but the scraping pad also became encrusted. I got worried that it would scratch the glass. Few hours in vinegar and it looked new.
