180 AGA tanks exact measurements

Can someone with 180 AGA tank tell me what the exact measurements for it? I'm having someone build me a tank stand and I need to know the exact measurements. I was told the tank will be 72x24x24 but that I should add another 1/2 inch to the length and width when build the stand. Is this correct?

My 5 year-year-old AGA 180 is..Counting trim....
72.5 inches long....24.5 inches wide.....
its the trim where the extra 1/4 inch(on both ends) comes into play
