My Reef Creations - Protein Skimmers

Has anyone bought a skimmer from "My Reef Creations" ?

I just found out about the company through a thread on this board. The skimmers look really good, and they are used by Lonestar Corals. I need to get a good skimmer, and I don't want to cheap out on one. If I get one from this company am I making the right choice?

I have heard nothing but good things about MyReef skimmers, I was planning on purchasing one myself but the Canadian dollar is worth exactly squat in American right now, so I settled on an ETS, should arrive at the end of the week...

Here is my MYREEF Skimmer. It has a 8 inch lower riser tube and a 6 inch upper riser tube. Total height is 40 plus inches If memory serves. It is for my 580 gallon system Im building.

I have one on my 180G. The quality of construction is first rate and the customer service is even better. I would reccomend one to anyone with a 75+ gal tank.

Sushiman I would almost think you would still save money on a skimmer at that price even with the exchange rate. All of the skimmers are very well priced, that is why I am looking into them. Just curious where did you order your ETS from? JL Aquatics was the place that I was looking at, but the prices are very high.

There has to be someone out their that has one hear, or that can at least comment on these skimmers. So far I am sold.

Man, I'm an idiot!! I meant are their calcium reactors as good? Does anyone have any good suggestions for a calcium reactor

i have a MyReef skimmer on my 50 gallon tank and i can't say enough good things about it or it's creator, Andy. A1 quality.

I assume the calcium reactors are very good as well. I havn't heard one bad thing about the skimmers yet. Fishpoo did you get the pump that is recommended for your skimmer? I am wondering if I should get that one or another.

i use a mag1200. I think you could use a Mag9. Oh, and yes, i have his calcium reactor. I bought that before i bought the skimmer. That's what convinced me.
