A quick ballast ? for MH users

Hi Everybody!
Well...2 quick questions really.
I've been good(sort of

) this year, and I think Santa is going to put a brand new MH system under the tree for me. Most of the technical stuff has been cleared up, but I still have a few ???.

Do magnetic(advance,magnetec etc.) ballasts hum/buzzz annoyingly?

Do E-ballests cause disruption in TV or radio reception?

I have no problems with mine, I also have a wireless internet connection in that room and it does not disrupt that either.
