i was wondering if the redsea SeaClone protein skimmer would be a good buy for $50 or should I just save my money and buy a better one thank

I used one for about 4 months.. They are hard to keep in adjustment. If your tank is 50 gallons or under .. I would recommend a Prizm. you can by them for 69.00 at bigalsonline.com for that price and they work great

I had a SeaClone skimmer and while it did work to some degree, it did not work very well. I even tried some of the fixes that were posted on this and other boards but it still did not work to my liking. Last year I replaced it with a Prizm. I think it works just fine for the money.

I have a SeaClone and I hate it. It's very noisy and it doesn't skim very well. My upgrade (Aqua C Remora) is on order. Save yourself the hassle and the money and get a good one up front.
