Whelp, my right arm isn't going to be going into any saltwater for about three weeks...
People, if you have fans on your tank (hood, sump, whatever), Even if they're the weenie little Radio Shack 3 inch jobbers, and you're thoroughly convinced that they're too small and slow to do any _real_ damage (in part because you've whacked your hand on them 100 times), GET THE FAN GUARDS FOR THE BLADES.
...Was monkeying with my Homemade overflow thing for the skimmer, which is right near one of the fans on my hood.... Smacked my finger into the blades for the 101st time...
Prolly should have gotten stitches, but what're you going to do... too late now. This was down to the pulpy part people... I saw tissue and white thinggy's and all kinds of interesting stuff while trimming off the inch of skin I used to have attached to my middle finger. Fan Guards will be put on by my wife this afternoon, 'cause that finger's no good for a few weeks. The good news is I no longer have a fingerprint on my middle Finger, so it will be harder to catch me now!
