Hello,
I am buying a bigger tank this week, and need advice on how to move my current reefs into it w/o stressing my livestock too much.

I am combing a 30 g reef and a 46 g reef all into a 90 gallon tank, will have about 140lbs rock total and 40 or so corals, and 6 fish. I wanted it all in one tank to make it easier to take care of.

I also have a refugium on the 30 and want to add it to the new tank as well, does anyone have any good ideas on what to do 1st to avoid any disasters or livestock loss?

thanks!

Seems you should setup and stabilize the new tank first without any of your equipment from the original setup. You know if you rush things then disaster strikes. of course you will be adding your live rock first and some of your live sand. let that stabilize then transfer your other inhabitants
