I have a 90 gallon tank. Its 42"l, 20"w, and 24"h. About 3" of live sand.
I am currently using two 96 watt PC about 6 inches above the water. What corals would you recomend that I should use with this setup, if I can use it at all?
I have had two brain corals, one porites coral, a brown star polip coral, mushrooms, ricordea and two condilactis anemonies. Everything seems to be doing well. Have not fed anemonies for almost a year and they show no problems.
Is only 2 watts per gallon too litle?

It really limits the amount of corals you can have. Especcially stonies im suprised your porites is doing well but if you have it up by the light it probable would. It just limits you keeping higher light demanding corals down towards teh bottom that is all. I hope this helps.
On my 90 i have about 7 watts per gallon and this allows me to keep pretty mcuh anything that likes light.

I have to agree with the above posts. In my 90 I have SPS, LPS, softies and is everything alive and well. I'm currently running PCs, but I know I would get better coloration and growth from the SPS under MH. I'll probably upgrade in the future.

Me too. Standard 90 with 2x250 12k bulbs. I can keep anything. If you have the money, upgrade to either dual 175's or dual 250's and use those PC's for actinics.
