I've several "green" mushrooms that are only actually green under quite low level lighting.

Under even modest lighting they start the day off green and progressively go to a brownish color over the course of the day.

Less light might be the answer - mushrooms don't really need much light at all.

Also, second part of the question is, one of them has un-attached from the rock and is floating around. Anyone know any way of re attaching it in a suitable location?

Rubber-band it to a rock and wait 10 days. Voila!

As for the color, lighting does that. Not much you can do.

Not sure what to do here.
This is a two part problem. I have a large colony of Jade Green mushrooms. I put them under my VHO lighting in my 29 and they all turned red. I wanted them to go back to the green color they were and I thought maybe it was the light. So I put them into my 75gallon FOWLR. It just has four regular 40 watt bulbs over it. They still have not turned back to the original color. All my levels are perfect.
How could I go about changing their color. Maybe play with the PH a bit???
Also, second part of the question is, one of them has un-attached from the rock and is floating around. Anyone know any way of re attaching it in a suitable location?

Thanks
Joe

You can use bridal veil or rubber bands to attach it to a small piece of rubble. There are several threads that explain exactly how to attach a mushroom cutting. As for the color change I don't know if they will change back.

Buy some grapes and use that clear plastic netting(clean it good)and drape it over the shrooms and the rocks you want them attached too.
