I think my macro algee went sexual.when i got up this morning my water was cloudy and all my macro was white.I did a quick 10 gal. water change this morning{i have a 75gal tank}should i do a large water change or let the skimmer get it?

So ill see what it looks like tonight when i get home and if need be ill do another water change.

I had Caulerpa racemosa go sexual twice on me before I got rid of it all....at 6:30 AM on the Sunday morning I noticed it and had a panic attack, I came here and did a search.

From all the posts I read, it's not going to do any serious harm, what I did and others too, was added a poly filter pad, fresh carbon and let the skimmer do its thing.

On both occasions the tank was clear again by suppertime.

I hate it when that happens.

If you watch it closely, you can tell the night before and get it out before it releases. It almost always releases just after lights on.
