I am trying to make an acrylic refugium and I do not have the space or tools. If any DIY guy in South FLorida wants to make a little money I would pay for your time and tools if you helped assemble the acrylic pieces. I have had no success trying to find local acrylic companies to do this for me. It is a real simple acrylic rectangle with no top, tentative dimensions are 24W X 13D X 24H. It is a basic 30 gallon High design. Unfortunately, Home Depot will not cut acrylic 1/4 or larger and 1/8 is too thin I think. PLease offer alternative ideas or e-mail if you are willing to help.

PS - I am doing acrylic because it is easier to drill for the necessary bulk head fittings and I do not have and do not want to buy a glass drill bit ($80) for a one time use.

I couln't find anyone to make my an acrylic 20G high here in Fort Myers either. I finally went with a standard glass tank. I fould a local glass and mirror shop that drilled it for me. It worked out ok and I only spent $50 for the tank and the hole.

Jeff @ Lifereef would gladly make you a "lifereefugium" of any size or specification. The leadtime might be a few weeks or a month. Call or email him. Nice guy. I bought a Skimmer from him and it is terrific. I've also got a berlin sump on order

Good luck either way!
