I know that harlequin shrimp are obligate starfish feeders, but I am interested in keeping one (choco-chip stars can be found rather cheaply in my area). However I was wondering whether it would also feed on serpent and brittle stars... since the body structures are so different from a true starfish. Anybody have any experience with this? Thanks

They might buta good way to raise them is to get 5-6 stars linkia or whatever. and through a different one in there or chop off a leg and feed. The shrimp. This way you don't kill the stars the regenerate there leggs and tubes= cheaper other wise you will need to always buy. The stars are scavengers I guess you need to feed them also but keeping them alive seems better. JMO
