I've tried Premiumaquatics, and Harbor aquatics, ok prices, but 1/2 were DOA. Anybody have good exp with another supplier? I want about 200 snails total.
Reeftopia was the highest rated supplier with more than 5 votes on my online supplier thread.
Reeftopia received a 9.4 out of 10.
Marine Depot was next with a 9.3.
Premium Aquatics had an 8.0.
Harbor Aquatics only has one vote, so it isn't really a scientific sample yet. (9.0)
Naso, I noticed you didn't put in a vote for Harbor Aquatics. The polling is still open.
Yes Pez, they are 100% filter feeders and usually do not fair well in our tanks. My recommendation was based on their algae control specials, not necessarily anything else they sell.
Sealifes.com. 50 snails ordered, 50 snails alive and well in my tank. Good contact via Email, including the Fedex tracking number when order shipped. He sells Nasarius (sp?) and Cerith which is what you need for your sand bed.
Price is right too.
Have had good luck with Jeffs Exotic Fish, but selection on snails could be better.
