All of a sudden something has been nibbling on my Pom-Pom Xenia. Your choices are as follows:

a) Emerald Crabs (likely cuplrit, 4 in tank)

b) Blue leg hermits (possible, 15 in tank)

c) Red leg hermit (possible, 1 in tank)

d) Nassarius Snails (not him I know, 100 in tank)

e) Astrea Snails (not him I know, 50 in tank)

f) Limpet or somesort (not sure what they eat, 1 in tank)

g) Long Spine Urchin (doubt it, 1 in tank)

h) Pepermint Shrimp (possible, 4 in tank)

I listed ALL of the critters in my tank. I know (obviously) it is not the snails, but did not want to discriminate...

Answer...A My Emerald started taking the heads off of mine until I started target feeding it once in awhile with seaweed selects, now it behaves itselve.

I've seen Emeralds yank the polyps off Xenia in the past. The one I have currently doesn't touch them, but more than likely that's your culprit.
