where is the best place to get the best price on a refractometer. i am just getting unsure about the deep six hydrometer

Hey Lunchbucket, I think North Coast Marines http://www.northcoastmarines.com/refract.htm has the best price at 80 bucks if you can't find it for less on Ebay.

what is the concensus on refractometers? i kno wthey are good but what do people think about then

I have one from Northcoast, it's good, but not the quality of the 130.00 one you see at champ or the other online vendors. But worh the money.

They are a must!
Call Joseph at Marine Depot and ask him to match the price of Northcoast.
I got my $130 refractometer for $80 from them.
