Anyone near NYC? I need HELP

My mother works in the World Trade Center. I have no idea if she survived or not. All phone lines are busy to NYC from the west coast. If anyone in NY/NJ/CT is reading this, if you're able to get through on local phone lines, I beg you to call 718-680-6326 and find my mother Joanne is there. If anyone in Brooklyn is reading this, her address is 112 Gelston Avenue (located betweeen 90th and 92nd streets, off of fifth avenue, in Bay Ridge) if it should be possible to check in person. Any news would be appreciated. Additionally, the news here has no information on casualty lists or even which hospitals people have been sent to. That information would be appreciated as well.

My brother-in-law works in the financial district. I am only across the river and have not benn able to call my sister in Long Island.

I am also wanting to hear from my wife. She is a flight attendant for Continental on her way back from Lisbon to Newark. From all the reports, she is on her way to Canada.

God willing, all of this will work out.

My thoughts are with all of my fellow reefers in lower NYC or their family members there.

My mother is okay, she made it out of the building in time. My brother, I
also discovered, is alright... turns out he was only about a half mile away
from the WTC when the first plane hit, but apart from some smoke inhalation
he's untouched.

I want to thank everyone who tried to contact my mother, you have no idea
how appreciated it is. I also want to thank everyone who contacted me
individually. Knowing so many of you were trying for me and hoping for my
mother's well being really helped. I'm in a tremendous state of shock right
now, but I did want to let everyone know how much I appreciated their
efforts, as well as the fact that they're (blessedly) no longer needful.
Thank you all. If I can ever repay you, just let me know how.
