acropora/clams under vho

I was wanting to find out what sort of success people had with clans and acropora under vho and any problems they may have noticed.
I have a 4x18x18 running a 660 ballast and 4 no tubes .

If you want to run flourecents and keep Acro's and Clams then you want to wait for a few weeks for these new bulbs to come out. There VHO's and i think there German, but when they come out they will be the VHO to have, specifically designed for Clams and Acro's.

Sorry i cant be more help with names etc. Maybe someone here knows a little more. But i doubt these new bulbs will come in without making waves.So keep your ear to the ground

Sure.

Some of the sps may not color up as nice, and you may want to start with a clam like Deresa which will thive nicely under VHOs... but you can have success with them. You would want to place SPS higher in the tank... leave your softies and polyps and LPS lower down - depending on species requirements.

I wouldnt worry about waiting for 'new' bulbs... the URI aquasun/actinic/actinic-white are very nice.
