How Big Does My Refugium Need To Be???

It is bad enough I have a 180 in a small condo (that is on the second floor), so needless to say space is limited. I need to add a refugium, but cannot make anything more than 10 to 15 gallons work. Is this sufficient, or is it a waste of time? I cannot imagine any size being a waste, as anything would help I imagine, but am not sure. PLease advise.

a 15 Gallon would be great if thats all you have room for Pods dont need a lot of room to grow
